SAT/PSAT

D428 is providing the PSAT for all freshmen and sophomore students on Wednesday, October 11th. The PSAT provides students the opportunity to practice for the SAT and provides the school with information regarding how well our curriculum is supporting our students’ developing skills. The test will be provided in paper/pencil format at no cost to students.

All juniors will take the SAT on Tuesday, April 10th during the school day. The SAT replaces PARCC (2015-2016) and the ACT (prior to 2015-2016) as the state-mandated assessment of ELA and Math. As such, the SAT is required for all students in 11th grade. The test will be provided in paper/pencil format at no cost to students, and students may use the score as an official score to submit to colleges.

For more information about the SAT and PSAT, see the College Board website.
