PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers)

The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is the state assessment and accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district. PARCC assesses the New Illinois Learning Standards Incorporating the Common Core and will be administered to 3rd - 8th grade students in English Language Arts and Mathematics.

D428 students in grades 3-8 will take the PARCC assessment online sometime during the March 5-April 20 testing window. The PARCC assessment includes 6 or 7 units, depending on your student’s grade level. Your student’s building principal will send you information regarding your school’s specific testing schedule.

For more information about the PARCC assessment, including practice tests, see PARCC Parent Resources.
