ISA (Illinois Science Assessment)

The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) is a state science assessment developed to comply with federal testing requirements. The assessment is aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards for Science incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The ISA assessment is a single test that contains 18-23 questions, including open-ended, multiple choice, and multiple-select items.

D428 students in grades 5 and 8 and high school students enrolled in Biology will take the Illinois Science Assessment online sometime during the March 5-April 27 testing window. Your student's building principal will send you more information regarding your school's specific testing schedule.
