SAT/PSAT

The SAT has replaced PARCC (2015-2016) and the ACT (prior to 2015-2016) as the state-mandated assessment of ELA and Math in high school. All 11th grade students in Illinois take the SAT on April 5th during the school day. The test is provided in paper/pencil format at no cost to students. Students may use the score as an official score to submit to colleges.

D428 also provides the PSAT for 9th and 10th graders on April 5th. The PSAT provides students an opportunity to practice for the SAT and provides the school with information regarding how well our curriculum is supporting our students' developing skills. The test is provided in paper/pencil format at no cost to students.

For more information about the SAT and PSAT, see the College Board website.
